With an eye for interior design, as much as simply painting walls, Giovanni Greco set up G G Decorating in 2016.
Giovanni stumbled upon a passion for decorating when helping his friend in his decorating business, after initially training as a Tiler.
The business is a real family affair, with wife Toni helping with marketing and admin, and the kids often helping to leaflet for the company.
Toni also has a keen eye for interior design herself, so you can be sure that colours and styles handpicked for your home or offices have met not only Giovanni’s but Toni’s high standards!
Italian Heritage
One of the things that sets G G Decorating apart from other Painters and Decorators in Harrogate, or indeed Yorkshire and throughout the UK – Giovanni’s Italian heritage.
His family originate from Ostuni. A town in the South of Italy in the region of Puglia.
Ostuni is commonly known as La Città Bianca or ‘The White Town’ as all of it’s building exteriors are painted white.
Keeping them that way serves to keep the rooms cooler during the summer months.
To keep the traditional pristine white finish they are regularly re-painted. So a love of painting must be in the blood!
